I’m hoping that if I wait a while, it will get dark enough that the searchlight playing over the low clouds a mile or so distant will really stand out during these times exposures.
There is a tang of woodsmoke in the clear, crisp air.
The searchlight is the blue streak against the clouds in the center of the picture.
